As the people of Heartland Church become maturing disciples involved in reaching, growing, and going, it is our goal as a team to assist them by informing, inspiring and involving them in the completion of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20a...Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you).
Olau & Kim
Olau & Kim serve as the area leader for the Northern UK. Their organization works in church planting around the world. Olau oversees & encourages the leaders of the seven teams working in the northern part of the UK. They are also active in their local church and are seeking to bless their neighbors in their Muslim-majority neighborhood. Kim currently spends the majority of her time mothering their daughters, Mariella (5) & Hannah (3), and Kayla (born July 2016).
Olau grew up in a Christian family in Denmark, and became a personal follower of Christ when he was 18 years old. In 2000, he moved to the UK to pursue a career in running track, but God unexpectedly took him out of track in 2001 and gave him a heart for reconciliation. He moved to northern England in 2003 to get a M.A. in Conflict Resolution and subsequently was director of a mediation organization for seven years. In September 2011 God again unexpectedly called him to serve full-time in missions leadership, and he has been the Area Leader of Northern UK since April 2012.
Kim grew up in a Christian home in Mansfield, OH, and gave her life to Christ at age 6. In college God gave her a particular heart for Muslims. She served with a missions organization in Denver for two years, and in 2004 she visited England where she met Olau. She moved to England in 2006 and married Olau a year later. She has worked for her current organization since 2007, providing cross-cultural training and supporting church-planting teams through team development, administrative help and mobilization.

There are always opportunities to serve in missions, both through the Alliance, and through Heartland Church.
In June we are sending a group to Haiti to help build houses and run a children's program.

Prayer is one of the primary ways we can stand behind our missionaries and their work. We encourage you to lift up our CMA international workers. Please see the CMA mission website for more information and other prayer opportunities: CMA Long Term Missions & CMA Short Term Missions.
We especially encourage faithful & committed prayer for Heartland’s seven focus global workers.

In 1882 Dr. A. B. Simpson, founder of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, began the denomination’s official magazine to inform people about worldwide evangelism efforts and motivate readers to become involved in completing the Great Commission.
Today, the print magazine and our on-line version of Alliance Life magazine touches lives with the wonderful message of Jesus Christ and with exciting accounts of Alliance missions activities around the world. The wealth of more than 125 years of Alliance history is freely available with a MyCMA account.
