Serve Globally

As the people of Heartland Church become maturing disciples involved in reaching, growing, and going, it is our goal as a team to assist them by informing, inspiring and involving them in the completion of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20a...Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you).

Paul & Denise Beeman

Paul was born in Mansfield, Ohio, while his father was the youth pastor at Clearfork Alliance Church. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 4 and at then recommitted his life to Christ when he was 17 at Delta Lake Bible Camp. The following year God put a passion in his heart for reaching out to those who've never heard the name of Jesus. He followed his call to serve the Lord by studying Cross Cultural Adult Education at Toccoa Falls College.

Denise was also four years old when she began her relationship with Christ. She committed to the call into full time missions when she was ten years old during a missions conference. This call has defined her life, as it lead her to go as a single international worker to Southern Africa and the Middle East. After she returned from serving overseas, she completed her CLIMB Certificate (College Level Instruction with Maximum Bible) from Toccoa Falls College.

Paul and Denise were married in 2011 and served under Jeff and Sue Rowe at Faith Community Alliance Church in Columbus, Ohio as Paul was finishing his M.A. In 2013, they were appointed as International Workers by the Alliance and started language study in Albertville, France. They serve in Dakar Senegal as Africa Regional Bookkeepers.

Hi...and Bendiciones from Salto, Uruguay.

We are Peter and Laura Marshall, C&MA missionaries in Uruguay. We have been serving with the Alliance for  over 25 years. Before serving in Uruguay we were in Peru and Bolivia. We are both from the northeast area of the United States, Peter from Maine and Laura from Pittsburgh, PA. We met at Alliance Theological Seminary while preparing for ministry. The areas of ministry we enjoy most are preaching, going to new areas to help start new churches, organizing children's ministries and helping new believers in Jesus to grow in their faith. We are not always "working". When there is the time we enjoy camping, hiking, and Laura, sewing.

Our 4 grown children keep us traveling and getting to know new places. Our oldest daughter lives in Kentucky, Sara in Ohio, Rachel in Chile and Nathan in California!!

Thank you so much for your prayer support and encouragement. We look forward to meeting you sometime when we are in the Lexington Area.

Short-Term Mission Trips

There are always opportunities to serve in missions, both through the Alliance, and through Heartland Church. We are currently planning two short-term mission trips this year. In April we will send a group of Heartlandlers to the UK to run a children's program for kids of global workers.

Alliance Life MagazineAlliance Life

In 1882 Dr. A. B. Simpson, founder of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, began the denomination’s official magazine to inform people about worldwide evangelism efforts and motivate readers to become involved in completing the Great Commission.

Today, the print magazine and our on-line version of Alliance Life magazine touches lives with the wonderful message of Jesus Christ and with exciting accounts of Alliance missions activities around the world. The wealth of more than 125 years of Alliance history is freely available with a MyCMA account.

Why the GCF?

The greatness of this fund lies in Jesus’ Great Commission. Its greatness is not based on the words He spoke but in the love He shared. Jesus’ Great Commission demonstrates His extravagant and sacrificial love. The Great Commission Fund (GCF) helps the Alliance family share this love with a lost and dying world.

When you give, you partner with Alliance workers who shine the light of Jesus into the lives of those living in spiritual darkness. Through GCF-funded medical outreaches, micro enterprise projects, community centers, and church planting, The Alliance is obeying Christ’s command to “make disciples of all nations.”
